Job Description and Responsibilities

Uphold the Mission and Vision of Arcadia Charter School.

Support students receiving special education services as indicated by students’ individualized education plans and directed by licensed special education staff.

Maintain confidentiality and healthy boundaries.

Report for supervisory duties as assigned by school director or paraprofessional supervisor.

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be able to navigate an active, open school environment and outdoor spaces.
This position is required to work in the school building.
Arcadia requires paraprofessionals to provide results from or take the ParaPro Assessment or the ParaEducator Assessment to demonstrate required competencies OR have at least an associates degree.
Paraprofessional work hours are between 7:30am and 3:00pm. Paraprofessionals may have the opportunity for additional hours by attending specified meetings, IEP meetings, and required professional development.
Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
